Many people want to know the difference between a tulip bulb and a seed. Is there a difference between the growth of a tulip from a seed or a light bulb? How does a bulb differ from a seed like a sunflower seed?

Start with the basic definition of a ordinary flower bulb. There are many different definitions that you can find sites on gardening. Here are two similar but different definitions:
