How many cups of tea (Japanese green) if they drink in a day?

I've heard of 3-5, but also heard 6.10! Usually drink 8 cups or so. I love green tea. I heard that if you drink too much, can be bad for you. Moreover, just for curiosity, How many cups of green tea is the average Japanese person drink in a day (I am not Japanese): Thank you!

I used to drink a glass of water full at a time because I liked both. I drink too much is not really a threat because it has very little caffeine. Besides all supplements claim to have about 100 times more power a cup of green tea, and its not bad for you. I really do not have to worry about drinking too much … Id say more than 100 drinking cups is when you really have a problem … one overdose of caffeine and such. and I have no idea of a Japanese green tea that you drink haha, p
